Hosts 

This year’s CMA Awards will be hosted by a dynamic trio: Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning, and Lainey Wilson. Bryan returns for his fifth time as host, while Manning steps into his third year. Joining them is Lainey Wilson, who’s not just hosting but is also a top nominee and performer this year.

Post Malone and Chris Stapleton will open the show with a performance of “California Sober.” 

Solo Performances 

  • Luke Bryan: Two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year and co-host will perform his chart-topping hit “Love You, Miss You, Mean It.” 
  • Lainey Wilson: The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year and first-time host will deliver her current single “4x4xU.” 
  • Post Malone: Making his CMA debut, the first-time nominee will perform “Yours,” a heartfelt track inspired by his daughter. 
  • Chris Stapleton: The reigning Male Vocalist of the Year will bring his soulful voice to “What Am I Gonna Do.” 
  • Shaboozey: The breakout star will treat fans to a medley of his smash hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and his latest single “Highway.” 

Collaborations 

  • Dierks Bentley: Bentley will team up with Molly Tuttle, Sierra Hull, and Bronwyn Keith-Hynes for a tribute to Tom Petty with a performance of “American Girl.” 
  • Thomas Rhett & Teddy Swims: These two stars will join forces for a mash-up of their hits, Rhett’s “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Woman” and Swims’ “Lose Control.” 

Opening Performance 

Post Malone and Chris Stapleton will open the show with a performance of “California Sober.” 

Lifetime Achievement Award 

Country music icon George Strait is the 2024 CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. Strait will accept the honor during the CMA Awards following a star-studded performance by several admiring artists.
