There’s more to look forward to with Saturday Night, a film about the early days of SNL, coming on October 11th. For horror fans, Smile 2 will have you on edge starting October 18th. And superhero fans, Tom Hardy is back as Venom in Venom: The Last Dance, arriving on October 25th. It’s shaping up to be an exciting month at the movies.

October marks the return of some of our favorite TV shows! Law & Order: SVU returns this Thursday, and Abbott Elementary is back on October 9th. If reality TV is more your speed, Love Is Blind returns tomorrow. Plus, Tracker returns on CBS October 13th, followed by new seasons of NCIS and American Horror Stories mid-month. And don’t forget about the much-loved What We Do in the Shadows, coming back on October 21st. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re into crime dramas, reality TV, or horror.
4. Special Events
October is also filled with can’t-miss special events. Tonight, the Vice Presidential Debate will have everyone talking. On Sunday, tune in for the American Music Awards. Then, later this month, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony airs live on Disney+ on October 19th, featuring inductees like Cher, Mary J. Blige, Dave Matthews Band, and more. It’s an incredible lineup of talent being celebrated this year!

October is home to some big holidays and a few fun ones too! Rosh Hashanah starts tomorrow night, followed by Yom Kippur on October 11th. You’ll also have Columbus Day on October 14th and, of course, the grand finale—Halloween on October 31st! But don’t sleep on some of the quirky holidays this month either.
