How did you get the name “Shawn”? Well, I guess I was born with it. What kind of question is that anyway?
What are your interests? Besides my love for country music, I love to fish…(But I don’t seem to have enough time to do it). I love going to concerts and watching Star Wars films. I also enjoy antique shopping with my wife Brandee, We are self-proclaimed foodies and visit restaurants and critique them. Just ask me what my favorites are and I’ll tell you.
Do you have a family? I am married to my beautiful wife Brandee for over 20-years. (Sheis a saint!). We have a growing family, Kira and her husband Gabe and our two grandkids. Our son Zac…who is a law enforcement officer and U.S Marine, (and very proud of). And our teenaged daughter Isabelle who is one of the most inspirational people I’ve ever known. She is the captain of her dance team in high school while battling cancer. She is kicking it’s a$$. I’m truly blessed with such a fantastic family.
Some of your Favorite Southern Colorado hangouts? I enjoy playing music at Cowboys, I love going to rodeos especially the Pikes Peak or Bust, Rocky Mountain Vibes baseball games, Ren Fest in Larkspur, Walking the shops in Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs, and of course Garden of the Gods.

I have an eclectic list of favorites including George Strait, Jon Pardi, Cody Johnson, Cody Jinks, Radney Foster, Randy Rogers Band, Chris Stapleton, Kevin Fowler, Jason Boland, and the Stragglers, Casting Crowns, Third Day, Alabama, Journey, Van Halen, Blake Shelton, Jamey Johnson, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Dierks Bentley, Vince Gill, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Charlie Robison, and Def Leppard. Likes?? Jesus, My family, music, listening to stories from elderly people, football…College and NFL, Meat on a plate, An ice-cold beer in a mug, comfortable cowboy boots and sneakers, jokes, and hanging with good people. And of course JRod the web guy (he MADE me put that).
Dislikes??? Cold wet feet, sad and angry people, Drivers who take up two lanes on a road, warm beer, lousy singers, and bad Mexican food.
